Whats the best way???????????

Hiya all

Planning on swappin DamoSR's 1.2 lump for a 1.4SR lump at the weekend but i can't get me engine hoist in the car to get it to his so what would you lot suggest to get do it??

We can get the donor Sr an the other car nose to nose, but need to take the 1.2 lump out an then drop the 1.4 out of the donor into that so any suggestions would be good

i done my 1.4 sr conversion with a scaffold bar and a seat belt... oh and me and a mate :) simple enough to do not the heaviest engines

we were thinkin about takin it out the bottom so we don't need to take off the gear box ?!?!?!?!?

i never took the gearbox off whe i did my conversion just lifted the engine out at an angle

why not just completely strip the engine down and rebuild it inside the bay? or isnt it that simple?

how about dropping the engine out onto a skateboard or pallete with wheels or something and then getting a few of your mates to lift the car up high enough to be able to drag it out?
