YAY its budget day.
Shall we make our predictions now...
I predict a council tax freeze or reduction for every local authority.. ok ok I know I cheated. lol
Yeah, the council are stopping the subsidy's for the local arriva next month, looks like I'll be ****ed when I finish work on saturday and sunday nights with a 7 mile trek home if I don't get my car sorted soon, and tbh, it doesn't look like I will.
Only joking mate! Never watched The Inbetweeners? lol
Nah, I don't watch much tv.
Fwend car fwend fwend lol

"You are aware there is this invention called television though and on that invention they show shows?"
lol Hopefully you get that though.
BW Clip (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orzlz86p9bE&feature=related) lol.
Our council tax bill for 11-12 has dropped a whopping 0.1% lmao.... still its a drop so they can use that as a big thing for years to come.
Odds on VED will go up, got mine last night.
Fingers X'd the fuel duty dosent increase.... infact if they dropped the duty more people would 'pleasure drive' than they do now so would increase tax tax.
Beer tax had better stay the same, and the rest I dont care about.
There are about 6 people on our squad at work that are lift share fwends.. including myself.
Although that does mean I have to be bought into work in a Z4 half the time.. but thats the sacrifice I have to make
well, i don't think that they'll dare raise taxes. and if anything at all goes on fuel duty, there will be a lot of really upset people about.
The income tax threshold is predicted to rise isn't it? That'd be handy for me with my retention allowance now being pensionable.
I'd like to see them bring in that petrol price leveller thing, but I really do doubt that will happen. Even applying tax properly on fuel would be nice (and sensible) but no, that probably won't happen either.
OOOO more money to help people in the south west with water bills...
OH DAM im wessex water!
extra £100million to help repair pot holes. about bloomin time! :thumb:

Most of that, if not all of it, will go straight out on settlements for damage caused to people's cars tbh. Bit of a vicious circle that one, people have their cars damaged by potholes so sue the council - who then pay out and have less money to fix the roads with - so more potholes appear, more cars get damaged, more lawsuits... lol
Wish he would stop babbling crap and say about fuel duty lol
40p up to 45p mileage allowance... (for anyone out there that gets that)
^^ in simple terms ? lol
Has he frozen the increase that Labour scum had put into place for this budget?
40p up to 45p mileage allowance... (for anyone out there that gets that)
Me me me me :d
a penny off per litre.... its a start....
mostly its just rearranging the cushions though...
That's ok with me tbh
Better than the +6p a litre that was planned
Cost of petrol still a joke tho, we should go North Africa stylee and have mass protest over it lol
40p up to 45p mileage allowance... (for anyone out there that gets that)
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
I already make £20 per trip to silverstone.... So Thats £25 per trip to be made now. WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN
I love the tories lol
When does the 45 p thing some into play?
Didnt catch that im afraid. I would assume..erm... soon
I bet that NO petrol station lowers the price of petrol by 1p so what's the point?

It means the govt have 'tried' and if the retailers dont pass that on then they are the coonts.
Even if they did - wow, 1p a litre (Ok, 1.3p all in, but it'll be rounded to 1p). Damn me for filling up the Nova yesterday. I could have saved myself 34p on the £44.51 I put in. That could have paid for a whole lot of things!
Where as if VAT was properly applied to petrol, then we'd be seeing an 12p a litre drop at the pumps. Instead, we're being taxed on a tax, which generates lots of lovely income for the government.
[edit] Oh and when you take into account the increased taxation from 20% to 32% of north sea oil production, thats going to lead to an increase in oil price (Ok so we import most of our oil but still lol) which means increase in petrol price, so an increase in VAT revenue - oh hello Mr Osbourne, there's your penny a litre back with probable interest too
Why is taxation on going up on North Sea Oil? I have absolutely no idea what could have prompted that (http://www.iii.co.uk/articles/14810/encore-reports-north-sea-oil-and-gas-discovery).... LOL
So Mr Osbourne puts VAT up costing 3p per litre then expects me to get a lob on at a 1p cut? lmao

All ****ers the lot of them, we could save a lot more money if someone with balls dared to drastically 'rethink' social security...ie. Stop about 80% of benefits to all the lazy workshy ****s and council estate slags
