195 50 15 should be fine with et 40

well, depends on stance..
always recommend to go for 45 profile, that way leaves a bit more breathing space.. plus they look better.

there be fine mate i ran that size on my cesaro's and they had miles way from the arches and the shock's. i also ran 205/40/17's et 32 or somthing close to that, both with a -60mm drop and they cleared the arches fine

thanks for the replys on the same note if i fit 45 profile tyres it will make the wheels smaller than the standard tyre. And going by my speedo and a gps unit i found that when i was doing 70 with the sat nav. I was doing 65 on my speedo. And fitting a smaller wheel will reduce this again how sure are nova speedos has any one else tested there speedo. Also i can not say the sat nav was bang on only when the wife has it in the zafira it reads correct with her speedo

it will prob make a small difference, but most nova speedo's are out any way!!

I think you'll rub with et40 wheels even with 45 profile tyres.

got the wheels on the car ill need to lower it for sure.also need to space the wheels of as they catch the calipers on the front there is enough clearance on the rears and should clear the wheel arch
