mk4 astra van not revving !

we have a mk4 astra van s plate think code is x17td

it will start and idle but will not rev? but engine man light is flashing fast

any ideas

does this model actually have a throttle cable or a pedal sensor?

i steam cleaned my combo bay and that didnt rev till it dried out

is it the same as the dti engine mate as we had probs with the fly by wire

i have had some bother recently with pedal senders on various vehicles, it might be worth removing & cleaning it up.

izuzu or vauxhall engine? need to know the code its brining up or you are just pissing in the wind

vauxhall engine ecu has been demolished as the engine was cranking and not firing

Ahh well, start with another ECU and see if that fixes it.
