fuel pump relocation v6

well curently in my v6 nova the fuel pump has been placed in the bay at the back driverside of the engine bay on the car you cant see it but in the gap on the left

now when the cars been running and the engines hot you have to turn the key 4 or 5 times to start the car to get the fuel back up to the pump as it seems to vapourize from the line now im not a big fan of it being in the car but if i was to relocate the pump in to the boot in the wheel well or drivers side opposite battery as shown here http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e28/TANKACF/f4c5cb81.jpg

would that work better? also the pump looks to be a rs turbo pump ?

what tank you running id just stick it in the standard position on the rear chassi leg if mpi tank or go for an spi tank with mpi pump

Mine is external pump, mounted just outside the tank. No problems here.
