Finally got my redtop engine back into my nova, anyway it smells like its overfuelling and running all lumpy.
so far i have tried different ecu's,air flow meter, wireing loom, temp sensor for the ecu, rotar arm and dist cap, ht leads and different coil.

so when i was working on it,i earthed it onto my van battery as i was using it to jump it,and got another set of leads and used them from nova battery,to engine and to chassis to see if it was a bad earth, and it went fine, but now its not again, by the time i tried all the things above the engine was obvisly warm so dont if this is why it started to run fine when i earthed it and just a coinsidance.

any ideas what this could be?
lamba sensor?

Coolant Temperature Sensor. Well known to cause rough running. New ones can be bought for not alot. I got mine from Euro Car Parts.
