NOVA saloon

Put v6 calipers and coupe turbo discs on my saloon today come too beed them up and no pedal. Thought the servo / master cylinder was too small. Then thought about it and realised I put the calipers on wrong way lol bleed nipple at the bottom lol. Swapped them round nipples too the top. Ding dong top pedal lol.
I remember when I come up with the bright idea of resetting the mileage counter whilst going round a corner, consequently about breaking my arm between the steering wheel and the steering column lol
Since being signed up on png theres been quite a few threads in mechanical where people wondering why there brakes wernt bleeding up and was because the calipers were upside down lol, easy mistake when doing it first time round imo

pmsl last year i took my sump off and cleaned it out replaced baffle for 8v etc, put it all together and got no oil pressure, then thought humm, did i??
So off came the sump, and wrapped round the pick up was some tissue that i put over it to stop it dripping on me while under the car! lol

Properly cleaned my Engine bay a few weeks back, all the ancillaries, underside of bonnet, everything.
I had taken the oil filler cap to give it a polish, then obviously neglected to put it back on.
Drove to the other side of town then remembered the cap was still sitting in the garage, voila, one ****ty Engine bay after a whole afternoons work cleaning it :)

Swapped the Head gasket on my old car and put rags down the pots to stop stuff getting in, built it back up turned it over and it ran like crap, stripped it back down to find the rags had been pulled through all the valves. That's when I learnt to strip and rebuild heads.

Well that got me immortalised on works wall of shame lol
if we truthfully admitted to every mistake, this thread would be massive.....
my sister & ex brother in law put it about that i had took their car engine apart & couldn't put it back together....... when in fact, i was asked to help swap a camshaft. i asked if i needed to bring all my spanners & he said no, don't bring any, he'd got enough, so i rolled up to find he owned a bike spanner, 3 screwdrivers & a plumbers grip, his worklight involved a bedside lamp in his bay window..
so we fell out, and i left. he took the whole top end apart using the tools he had... then scrapped the car after failing abysmally to put it back together...
