how suitable is the mechanical cam driven fuel pump on a 1.4 8v for use with bike carbs? would it, in conjunction with one of these (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SYTEC-FUEL-PRESSURE-REGULATOR-8MM-ADJUSTABLE-/220735633181?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3364de771d) FPRs be okay?

it depends on the carb design to a certain extent. do they have a feed & return on then? if yes, they don't need a fpr, if no, then something like that should be ok. i think the pump should be ok
