Just been and picked up my new Nova

Just driven home having bought Curtoise's SR, and I'm well happy, it feels so good to be in a Spanish tin box again lol

plans are just a tidy up, it needs the rear arches doing, and a pair of doors, then the sides respraying and a fresh set of vinyls putting on, which will be done before PVS hopefully.

Other than that, its getting a set of bike carbs, and a cam/vernier and thats about it.
bought a set of ZX9 carbs from Balley already lol just need a manifold now and we're in business :thumb:

i was tempted by this, seen it in the flesh at a meet and then saw it up for sale, not a bad motor really! was just put off by his ignition timing issues he had at the meet lol

its running spot on at the moment, pulls really hard for a wee 1400
I think the bumpers are off a GTE, hence being colour coded. they look ok seeing as they are black so they can stay for now
yeah both arches are a bit crumbly, but I know there are a pair of repair panels in the store at work so I'll have those for nowt and get them welded in asap

Personally I wouldn't put vinyl on it. Looks great with the black painted bumpers and grill, grey vinyl would clash with it.

I thought that about the vinyl too, but the tail gate is the only vinyl still on it, and having seen it in the flesh it seems to go quite well. its having the side rub strips put back on too so they will break it up a bit. I might even go for satin black vinyl

Curt: just driving it home was the most fun i've had driving for a good while, oh and that REALLY annoying squeak is the sunroof lol
Reevie: I'm sure you will mate, which nova are you normally in? white one or black one?
