Creeking Clutch Pedal

Right, ive got a problem here and its really doing my head in! When i drive my car for the first time in the day, the clutch pedal is silent and smooth. As the engine warms up, the clutch pedal gets really creeky and jerky. The creeking sound comes from somewhere on the pedal, not the engine bay. Ive tried spraying some stuff similar to wd40 on the pedal and the cable, but it doesnt make any difference. What should i do now? Cheers

gota spray the bit where the pedal levers on, its like a pin that goes fru da pedal me finks, jst spray da whole area loads+press da pedal several times 2 work da stuff in+all shud b good!

m8 every single nova ive had the clutch pedal has creeked on, wd 40 wouldnt get rid of it! i think your find you just have to put up with it!

try using a bit of propper greese instead of the WD40 style ones...i used it on mine and it is sweet now

im on my third nova now and so used to it the noise isnt even there any more i must block that frequency out now lol

ditto - you have to be a wright lifter to put up with my clutch as well (mega heavy & creaky)

Squeaky clutches are as distinctive as the square arches on Novas...it's part of their character :)

Turn your stereo up, or change gear quicker so you dont hear the squeak so much ;)

silicon grease i think is what you need.

Yeah, but where do i put this lubricant? On the cable or on the bit that the pedal levers on?

lol, all three of my novas have had this, i'm immune now to squeky clutches and rattling backshelves lol

i use lm grease (bearing grease). you put it where the pedle pivots and also where the cable slots into the pedel.

I use Chain lublicant from work, stops all squeeks n creaks!

i thought the squeeky clutch pedel was standard vauxhall fitment as all old vauxhalls have it

ive had 3 novas and i forgot it squeeked till u said lol its a nova they do that and yes my left leg is stronger than me right cuz of the bloody clutch although me 1.2 was really lite mind u me brake pedal squeeks to the whole car is 1 big squeek
