Last year at PV a few members stayed to help me work out why mine was leaking water when I changed the plastic header back over to get home. Scott, mazz and others stayed and none if us could work out where it was leaking from. Anyway, cut a long story short, I put the fugly tx rad on at the leak from underneath was ten times worse.

Got under it today and hey pesto, the three way water hose has split where it joins the block.

After three hours of swearing and mashed arms and the pipe kindly supplied by Paul, I am with on the road again:thumb:

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fixed the blood pipe and now the inlet it leaking, it looks like leaking from what look like a small coreplug recess!

Bloody pissed now, missus moaning, kids screaming, ripped half the skin off my hand finding the problem, too old for this crap .............also can't find a single shiney inlet on ebay......anyone got one?

lol i had my inlet polished, was a bit easier..lol

No core plugs on the inlet from what i remember tho...

Benn, is your engine still out?

if it is, look underneath near where the big water hose connects, does it have a round recess?

Cheers Paul, i'll take the inlet off this weekend and have a look at the leak, will let you know over the weekend whether i need it or not:thumb:

Benn, can't you post a picture up of the back underside of the inlet, alternator side?

glad you sorted it in the end mate,hate doing them 3way pipes pain in zee butt lol,mine was leaking at the top,where it goes into the inlet,just got mine off roosemotorsport,best way to do them is put the pipe in hot water for a few mins them wd40 the bits whrere the pipes go on,hey presto can do them in about 15 mines now,changed a few lol
