Its been forking years since Ive bought aftermeerkat pads & I needing some for V6 calipers nows.
Shout me out some brands & shizzle of decent all round pads that aint gonna crumble & throw me in a ditch after 5 miles lol trackday & road use useable ones at that (CBA with changing pads for trackdays)
Anything but bloody carpy Greenstuff! I used to use Mintex 1144's, they still as good as theyve always been?
the GM police spec pads are meant to be good iirc

My brother in law/sister said the same as she;s got these on her Vec GSi :S might have to find out where they had them from as it stopped really well when I was sending it on last out in it lol
Andy, at the mo Ive got 280 Meriva drilled, grooved shizzle disc;s but no pads at all lol
theyre too dear to warp lol

According to my brother in law there just Mintex 1144's with "Police - GM" on the back of the pad?
i'd buy the tarox g88 discs and tarox spec pads, bit pricey but work very well, i also had black diamond combi discs and their predator pads which worked well also and are cheap:thumb:
GM cop spec pads are very good.
Thats sucks, the police are more important than regular customers?!
"Hey mr plum, you have the 1144's-err mr heroin your having the brakeworld speshals dontchaknow!!"
plain gyppos discs and 44's or 55's
I'd go for 55's as they tend to last 3-4 times longer and are way less than twice the price of 44's
£59.73 the M1144's from RallyDesign, they dont stock the 1155's :(
The V6 pad is fecking massive, so the wear rates should be nearly acceptable on a nova to be fair. And at only £60 for a set its not the end of the world :)

True this, im not complaining about the price tho lol £60 to stop it is an onion bargy IMO, just a shame I cant find no V6 55's for a quick comparision :(
'usually' £25-£30 more for 55's, but sometimes Double lol
I've never gone wrong with Pagid FR's

Get the part number, then go to a local motor factor that does Mintex disc and pads. Give them the part number, they'll be able to order then in and half the price.
The ones for my Wilwood's are £60ish plus post from Rally design.
I got them for a place i deliver too for £25.
I too would go for M1155's they are a cracking pad. Give questmead a call (He's mr Mintex)

Dayle, will give them a call later nice one :)
Its been a while, looks like they've changed their lineup.
Pagid and Mintex kinda merged a lot of their lineup under the TRD ownership
256s with Ferodo ds2500 is a better option imo, v6 calipers and disks are stupidly heavy

This is true about the weight lol but £20 for some calipers where as people were wanting £50+ for 256's I couldnt really say no lol there just a temp fix TBH as I know they'll stop it for sure so meh.
V6's are great brakes imo, mine work really well and will happily lock the wheels if you want...
