Depends on the damage Edd, I've seen some straightened up before but only with minor buckles

Stick in the freezer like an old BMX Mag lol
Nah some proper wheel refinishers should deal with minor buckles but banana's will be scrap lol

yeah you can repair them. if its bent in too bad dont bother, any cracks can be welded up but they warn of a slight risk.

2 years ago my missus hit a kerb in our focus, put a nice flat spot in it. took a big lump hammer to it, got it balanced and its still going strong after a bodge.

You can knock buckles out, Ive done it before with a propane torch an a leather mallet for minor flat spots.

I've had an alloy with a slight buckle on the rim making it not hold air.

Rubber Mallet and a couple well aimed whacks, tyre off, re-seal it and tyre back on. Job done, had it a few thousand more miles :)

In terms of what can be repaired, you should really be asking what will it cost. Anything, and i mean, anything, can be repaired with wheels.

There used to be one advertised on eBay that could repair huge buckles, massive chunks smashed off etc.
