Vauxhall Nova Brake SERVO

Hello all,

I have a Vauxhall nova 1.4 luxe 5dr and i have been told by a mechanic my brake servo is damaged/broken.

Does anyone know a way of fixing them or where i can get hold of one, old or new. I have tried the obvious ebay but there is nothing.

what is actually wrong with the car? what is it doing or not doing?

novas usually need their rear brakes readjusting if the pedal is sinking a lot.

or is the engine revving high at tickover??

this indicates that the vacuum chamber on the servo is shot.

The i noticed 1 day when i pushed the brakes it sounded like air coming from the pedals.

A few days later it went pop. The pedal sinks alot. When i put my foot on the pedal it makes the whole car shudder.
