finaly got my engine all back together and was putting the bolts back in the cam cover and 1 slipped out my hand

into the crank breather pipe :(

It's went right through to the sump I heard it hit the bottom

It's a new sump I just put on

I might lift the engine with the crane and try get it our the drain plug

The engines not in the car and has no oil in it

Wack the sump off, new sump gasket and abit of sealent to be sure, take bolt out, refit sump. easy fix. :)

get a really strong magnet and walk it to the sump plug hole:thumb:

agreed with jeff thats what i would do, strong magnet and pull it towards the hole would deffo work, would just be a bit fiddly!

get a magent sump plug tilt the lump then remove the plug hay presto :)

done it myself lol
