Basically a Calibra C20XE has come up very cheap around my way an its too good to refuse, if all goes to plan ill be picking it up next week and dropping the engine out and scrapping the shell

Before anyone asks, the engines getting stored untill im on the right side of 21... or 40, its too cheap to refuse, less than scrap value because the body is rotten, but the engine is sweet

I need to know what to save off the Calibra to use on the Nova, what looms do i need? Do i need to keep the shafts? What about in-car loom for the ecu etc? have no idea whatsoever to keep :(

Engine, box, ecu (out the drivers foot well) and the wiring loom from the engine to the ecu.

Its more than likely the shafts will be well used and the cv joints will be only good to fill the bin. Pointless keeping them unless it has got the half shaft fitted!;)

If you take out the whole loom you could separate the wires from the loom and have your trip computer working properly :d

Yep, was about to say I had a spare dialset from a V6 calibra that I robbed the tacho out of - that had 160mph dials on it.

In fact I think I MAY still have the dials sat somewhere in my shed.
