Still true though, I'd sooner eat from a bin than shop in a Lidl or Aldi

I shop at Aldi...imho nothing wrong with it at all, infact most of the stuff is better than the large supermarkets and I'm saving a wedge.
Of course all down to personal taste

What its actually done is given me a tad more faith in Ad men. I was pretty much convinced they made all that bollox up on the back of packets like that.

You will find all of the 'own brand' stuff is the same anyways, i used to work at netto years ago when i left school and there was a massive recall on all of the 'hienz' and other named brand tinned soups, something to do with the sterilisation of the empty cans prior to filling, and oh looky, we had to recall all of the netto own brand soups aswell due to them all being made at the same place:p

Gotta love orangeboom :)

I did a comparison of what I bought yesterday from Aldi (£22) and Tesco came back as £37 and Sainsbury at £41
