They do indeen fit through the small gaps in the core. Hope this helps.
You have small plastic tyes that push between the thin metal bits on the rad. The plastic lug just bends them out the way. You then secure them with a plasic lug and spring on the back. You will understand when you get your fan and fitting kit.
As for size, Biggest you can fit on your rad ;)
Heres mine. Allbeit not a TX Autosport one.

You might have to move the fan to the engine bay side depending on your IC, Although my corsa can run two small fans with the IC I have.
Id work out fans with the IC so you only buy fans once :)
intercooler will have to be a twin pass one
cheers for the help guys
off to order a 9" one :)
Should be fine then imo :)

Im now running a new (leaky) tx autosport radiator and 11" Spal (suction/pull) slim-line fan. 11" fits comfortably; turned 90 deg. on its side..
Tho i wasnt a fan (boom boom) of those stupid through-the-now-damaged-core ties and made my own brackets; though a bit more unsightly has to be said.
A during fitting pic: (brackets not tightened, just sat loose)

I run 2x 7inch ones on the front of mine.
Both have the plastic fitting kits going thru the rad. Need to sort for thing tho as they melt where they are close to the turbo.
9" should be fine then
Fooking rad better not leak tho

alls i can suggest edd is to fit it loose-but-safe, fill, run the car, bleed etc - then keep a beady eye. Then come back next day, check again, run it again leave it again, next day if still no leaks - then resume fitting it properly lol.
I have had it a while in the box I got it when they first came out and the welds look alot better than the one in pics that Jeff pit up in General chat
But how the fook can you charge £140 and them have them leak ?? WTF !
Any probs and I want a new one or cash back

block up the outlets and fill before you fit.
