gearbox linkage

What gearbox linkage do i need to use on my nova with a F13 gearbox off a 1.4 astra from a scrapyard ?

Because i have fitted it and the linkage supplied with the F13 box doesnt move backwards enough beause of the steering rack, and the nova linkage catches on the gearbox.. any ideas?:thumb:

linkage from the nova should work fine

Hmmm well the f10 box was shaped diff?:S Because where the linkage goes past it is shaped differently the f13 is like round and the f10 isnt it goes in? hope i have described it well thanks for reply

weard, i had a 1.2 a while ago that had an F10 4 speed as standard, changed it to a 5 speed F10 then eventually to the F13 never changed the linkage and all was fine

hmmm Im not sure if i have bought wrong box but it says f13 and came of an astra 1.4 :/. i might be doing something wrong.... :thumb:


With my box came the linkage attatched to the box it wasnt like the nova one this was mounted to the gearbox via a alloy mount is this correct?

sounds like the wrong (astra) one mate, my current box F13 was from an astra but i used the linkage that was on the car allready. do you still have your nova linkage?

have it but its ****ed now so will have to buy a new one
