Modifing a pierburg 2e3

I saw in Decembers issue of total vaux that On bretts euro sr he modified his auto choke by removing the cover for extra air flow. Has anybody else done this on there own carb with any improvements and if so what have you done with the water pipes going into it.

To be honest most people bin the cr8py pierberg and replace with a weber 32/34dmtl which is a far better set up !
the best thing to do to a pierberg is to bin it or bin the auto choke unit and replace it with a manual coversion, as for the pipes! you have 2 options first is to just connect them together with a pipe conector or option two is to buy some 1.2 heater matrix pipes which will do away with the T connectors in the sr pipes
