Sorry it's another thread from me. Can't seem to work the search system very well :s

Basically at the moment I'm running hockly coilovers with standard tie bars and antiroll bar. Car seems to handle ok.

on a shell I'm stripping at the moment there are different front mounts for the tie bars which seem to lower them and push them back a tad. What are the benefits off this?

If I fit these to mine I think the sump guard will be in the way so I can't fit the arb.

The car is used on mainly rough Tarmac event and few gravel.

Thanks

Don't people with Tarmac spec cars usually not run a front ARB?

Lowering the tiebars at the cross member end reduces dive iirc.

ARB, try it with and without IMO.

personal choice really

i always have one fitted, on both big and smallblock, imo the handling is crap without

i removed it due to the lowness of the car lol

imo it steers better than with one, but on a normal ride hight nova, it's crap without one.

meh i think it holds your tie bars together better than not having one. i.e less preasure on the crossmember.

its down to the old 'well rally cars don't have one' based on british forest rallying where suspension travel is king, but i'd always go with soft front springs & an arb, with a stiffer rear end. but thats my personal preference..
