Hi I'm wanting to buy some new rear brake cylinders but apparently they come in different sizes how do I know what size I need? I have a '83' Nova 1.2st
Any help would be much appreciated :thumb:

hiya mate take the old ones off and take them to your motorfactors but they should be able too tel you which ones are on it from the registration

No I asked them first and they couldn't tell me even with the reg?? I could take them in but I can get them cheaper from ebay lol so didn't want to use my local auto store.

I'm watching some at the min on ebay and in the description it says will fit nova '83-85' models with a 14.3mm bore. I'm not at all sure if that is what I need so not wanting to buy them until I know for sure.

take them to your motor factor get them to measure them and tell you which ones you need (pretending your going to buy them) then "oh no ive forgot my wallet back soon" go get the ones off ebay

as far as i can tell, from the 'online catalogue' link to girling, (use search), the early type >07'84, girling part no. 5003112, has 2 mounting bolts, and the 08'84> one, girling part no. 5003115, has one mounting bolt. both are 17.5mm bore.
