My nova started running like a bag of spanners the other day, it runs and pulls fine but she really doesn't want to tick over and the coolant stinks of petrol. So, im going to be on with stripping it down this week. Does anyone know what im likely to find? Head gasket failure?
Ive a full spare engine so repairing it shouldn't be that expensive, its a c14se

Ive finally got the top end stripped and sent the head away for pressure testing etc. Upon stripping it I found water in the inlet manifold, cracked head? I should know tomorrow

it could be a manifold gasket leak..
