i was thinking about putting a nova gsi/gte engine into a corsa 1.0 or a 1.2,
does anyone no how hard it is to do? what will i have to change? how hard is the wiring?
thanks, scott :)

Been done before, Its the same work as fitting any other engine into a 1.0/1.2, Ideally need to change the dash loom, Which is effort.

i'm a touch confused here.... you are getting rid of a 1.6 ecotec that would be a straight fit into a corsa, and would wire in dead easily, the exhaust would fit etc, and you want to put in an old 1600 8v in.... with less power & more insurance cost too...please explain

Any conversion would need the wiring loom changed.

A 8v will go into a type 2 (12v/16v) shell, Just use a 16v mount, Simple.
