Right so my gf has a sturbo and it has central locking

She bought one of those remote central locking kits from eBay and she's expecting me to fit it

Since her car already has central locking the doors should have the actuators or whatever thier called installed already

If it does will I be able just to wire into them from the eBay kit?

Yarp, should be ok. I did it on my Celica no problemo.

Does it have a lock control button? You could just splice it into that.

what a palava that was today lol

i removed her cd player to use the feed from ther for the kit and the wiring behind it was attrocious (sp?) masking tape everywhere haha

anyway im a bit confused with the wiring now

in the kit it says theres 3 wires for the main solenoid and the others have 2

the switch for locking all the doors is located in a little panel with 9 wires going into it as theres other switched there for the windows etc

how do i figure out which wires are for the central locking? put my multimeter on each wire and hit the switch and see which one changes?

Have you got white/blue, black, and black/blue wires going to the door lock/EW switch panel? Good chance Toyota would have used a standard wiring colour across their range, so I'm looking at my GT4 diagrams. Those will be your door lock wires.
