chisel the outer casing off then try a 17 on the nut itself

depending on the locking nut used if its a vauxhall nut go to your dealer and they will have a master set with about 30 lock keys you might just be lucky
the old fashioned take the other 3 studs off & drive it round on private ground till it loosens has been known to work
but i'm still confused as to why you think that welding a nut onto the end will kill the wheel... you hold the nut in place & weld the inside of it onto the stud end. no weld should get near the alloy
I was looking for the thread of the guy that cut his wheel, cant find it though :(

Got a bigger prob now lol the socket is stuck on the stud lmfao ideas please! n please dont send me to them vw forums lmao f**k that :L
is the stud on the hub or off it???
if it is on, then you need a seriously long bar, like a piece of scaffold then jump on it (remember to not use a ratchet)
if it is off, then you need a vice & a hammer & punch to knock it out

i always tell people to never use the windy gun on the locking wheel studs.... but unless i'm in the fitting bay, watching them, i can't guarantee it i am listened to....

my moto at work is you can tighten the other 3/4/5 up as tight as you like but only nip the locker up. bloody things are more pain than there worth.
so, who has ever actually had a set of wheels nicked???
If its now off the car heat it up and give it a whack. If its still on the car i'm stumped? The second response is the best advise, you need to remove the spinning casing

i think the days of waking up in the morning and seeing your car on blocks are gone, people would sooner just nick the car
