ive got a set of pistons that are rather dirty and have got slightly damp over the winter and now have very tiny amounts of oxidization on them.
whats the best way to clean them up...or are they pretty much useless now they are in that state?
i know beadblasting cleans them right up but would that damage the surface too much? the one i blasted other week still has a ll the machining ridges on it or would it be fine?
one i cleaned
