this may be one of them things you get told thats wrong but a local banger racer near me said thats how he used to get redtops running when they used to have to convert them over to carbs ,reason i ask is i need to get my cav what has got bike carbs on moved due to a change in circumstances and get it running enough to drive out from where it is onto a trailor, the nova dissy physically fits in the hole ,so what i need to know is if it was wired up would it generate enough spark to start the engine?

as long as the drive is the same, then there is no reason why it won't work

It doesn't fit.

However, I'm sure you could bodge it enough to run.

Probably easier to push it onto a trailer, then all that.

Just get a 1.6 or 1.8 mk2 cav dizzy, coil and amp.

right the dizzy fitted in the hole perfectly the rotor arm spins fine when its turned over so if i wire it up it should spark?

trouble is its a long way to push the car as the trailer wont fit down the entrance.
