right on the chunnel a car based van like a friesta is around 60 quid return but a swb transit is around 260 return! anyone know the cheepest way accross with a swb transit?
feeries are not so cheep either.:(

get a ferry,but book WAY in advance,makes it cheaper.
on norfolkline,dover to dunkirk return its £101 for a van under 2.4 metres in height and 2 adults

Ferry is the cheapest. Me and 2 mates went to Le Man for motoGP in 2009. Ferry return was around £180. That was with a 4 berth cabin aswell!!
BUT that was Portsmouth - Le Harve IIRC.

not so much a parts run but a collection is all goes well, I'd be going a week on Tuesday if all goes well but as usuall it'll all go wrong for me lol
fill the van up with disgruntled illegal immigrants on the way out, and illicit fags & booze on the way back.....

Yeah ferries, for vans try ldlines or p&o norolflines are expensive for commercials.
