Hi all
Just new to the forum and was wanting some help please.
I have just put a 2.0 8v into a nova and have a set of bike carbs on the engine.
It is all wired up using the original 1.2 loom but can not get a spark from the coil. I have been told I need a normal dizzy/coil pack amd cam from a 1.8 carb motor???
Can any one advise me a easy way of getting the engine to run on the bike carbs.
I do have the 2.0 loom and ecu

you will need to be looking on mk1 astra or mk2 cavalier forums for a complete dizzy/coil setup, or buy a megajolt type ign controller.

as for the bike carbs, do you have a manifold for them?

Does the cav 1600 setup fit the 8v?

I thought it was the later 1800 setup that was needed for 8v?
