Emm hopefully only fuse poped

Right well the cd player in my nova wasent wired up so joined all the wires and turned the key heared a pop now my speedo and rev counter isnt working but hand brake light etc on dials still works.

Is this just a blown fuse or could i have a bigger problem ??

My gsi has done this in the past, and it was a blown fuse. But when mine does it all the lights and dials go and the charging light just comes on.

My mate wired his sterio wrong and sent a backfeed to the igntion lighting up the digi dials lol

but I don't get how the speedo stopped working if it's standard dials?

Mine had a habit of doing this a few weeks ago. Go over a bump and I'd lose the stereo and dash and indicators and break lights. Turned out to be a short on a stereo wire so taped it up with leccy tape replaced the fuse and all is good now.

Thats exactly what it just done when i started it there the battery light came on, SO thank f**k its just a fuse lollol

What colour is the fuse.
