mike, if the scooby was damaged in some way, he would have got out of the way.. i think he was simply a bad driver, look what happened at the end, when he tried to get thru a gap that was too small & hit the crashed car.

He aint had a off, just a not so good driver. At one part on a wider/straighter section he does pull a slight gap on the nova.....
TBF that nova driver was fooking caining it.

There is more to this video than you think. Do you see the bit at the very end where the Subaru tries to squeeze past the Ford that crashed? Well the driver of the Ford, wearing black overalls, jumped on the bonnet of the Subaru and kicked in the windscreen. This video ensured that he got a lengthy ban from all motorsport events.

Nah, tarmac rally so good chance they are on 30 second intervals. The Nova is miles quicker through the twisty sections and the Subaru is only marginally faster on the very few straight sections

Impreza driver does come across as a bit of a pleb tbh, there was a few places he could have wazzed out the way. He did seem to be having a bit of a hard time squeezing the car down the stage though, he was slow on all the corners and enclosed sections... probably too scared to batter his £20k car, where as the ratty old nova fits through the gaps and the guy doesn't care if he scrapes it :d

Impreza did seem to disappear in the straights though!
