door strips

hi ive taken the door strips of my 84 sr nova to respray and cant remember the exact spot to put back on can anyone with a mk1 sr measure from the bottom of door to the bottom of strip this would help a lot

They should be clip on rubbing strips? or have the "Nail" heads been removed for the plastic clips

My SR is in the dark garage, so can't measure it for you but can tomorrow

Later SR strips were self adhesive

If its the clip on type but you hhave smoothed the body, about 1-2mm above the body line

the ones on my sr are the stick on ones someone must have changed them before . whats the best thing to stick them on again
