what about the guy who bought the shell he was on.
if an f16 fits i would use one of them.

scorge? Think he putting a c20let in it now. Sure wilsons old one ran a f13 but no 100% sure. Tommy_nova owns that engine now.

F15 im sure is just a slightly stronger f13 gearbox; all identical just 'newer'..?
Apparently the numbers in the F10, f13, f15 etc model names mean torque handling in lbft, multiplied by 10: so f10 = 100, f13 = 130, f15 = 150 and so on..
However, a good turbo-charged 1.6 8v will be pushing these small block gearbox torque-wise anyway..
An f17 is an even newer, stronger small block fitting gearbox but i dont know much about them; designed to work with hydraulic clutches i think..
Could fit a big block 'box, as mentioned - if you changed the flywheel/clutch setup

I'm just using my F13 with wide band gears and a ATB diff, a close ratio box would be too short in the gears IMO

i was going use an f13 as you say bazil a close ratio box be no good. I was thinking a corsa sport/gsi box might do the job?

Bazil you have a pm

Depends how you drive as to what short/wide ratio is. Corsa gearboxes will be short ratio.

For my build I'll be using a F15 CR box (Due to not being worried about cruising speed, just keeping it on the power), Depending on the power you get out, it might end up killing it, but its not going to rip it apart on the first trip.

If you're after an F15 moffat I've got one here, £20 takes it :)

I would definatly go for a WR f15 box, The torque these engines develop they will pull a wide box and have a nice engine speed when cruising, mine with a CR box was great as it accelerated like f**k but the top end and cruise wasn't great.
