As per my other posts I am planning another nova project. My plan is a silk nova Gsi with a let conversion. It's still up in the air at the mo as I need to move house first. I have 2 question though the first is. Is there any sort of cage/supports I could use that would allow use of the rear seats?.
The other question is do let's flame, the reason I ask is because my mates have had scoobys and gtir and with the addition off a decat and 4" (iirc) exhaust system they regularly spat flames on gear changes. Just wondered if let's did it.
Some cages do allow for rear seats and lets probably do pop flames my 1.2 does so im sure you could get a let to pop them to.
ahh rite thought u meant the sri ;) lol.

silk violet is the most common colour of GSI on this site and a let conversion is so common its unreal, be different and dont be a sheep!

me and burgo had plans on this, we recon the block would love a bit of boost :)
a T2 would go nice on boost, maybe a bit of lag but still........

I was just wondering really as jap cars seem to do it on standard boost but all the lets i see dont seem as "raw".
with regards to the cage and the rears the car will be a road car (well weekend car) but i want to be able to take the missus and the kids out too but i quite fancy occasionally taking it on a track to so want to stay safe with a cage just in case. i'm guessing i cant have both?

i agree mate but i tried been different before with bodykits, and major bodywork and a c16xe turbo conversion from brazil(you know who) but it was all just an epic fail, what i want is a project but a nice standard looking gsi(silk violet is my fav colour) i did think Matt Black but its just a phase at the moment imo, with a 2.0 turbo.
just call me baa baa lollol lol lol :thumb:
