if i fit the 1.4 16v into the nova and run in on twin 40s how do i go about wiring up the ignition system? also is the inlet the same on the rear as the c20xe?

As said, You would need management for the ign. And What do you mean as the same as xe?

i have a manifold off a 2 litre xe engine and was just wondering if it will fit the 1.4 xe? is it possible to use standard 1.4 management to run it?

No to both.

Aftermarket management will be need to get the 40's to run.

Just buy the proper exhaust.

its the inlet manifold not the exhaust manifold

I very much doubt it will fit and no you can't use the standard management

Megajolt will be your cheapest option
