hi i have a 1.2 8v carb nova.
i was think bot puttin a 1.4 or 1.6 8v cam in it? would that make it a bit more quicker or not? thanks nathan:thumb:

a friend of mine did this a few years ago with a 1.4 sr (carb) you need to check lift and duration of various 1.4/1.6 8v engines (compared to your 1.2) etc. Not sure if the specs are in the Haynes manual or see if you can dig out the info on google. All 8v cams fit except 2.0 and I'm sure there would be some gains but not considerable amounts
