bike carb questions

have been thinking hard about fitting a set to my 14n engine because i can get some cbr600 items handy
will my standard ignition system do as its already carb
and would the jets be close to the 1.4
also is theyre many pitfalls apart from mpg to fitting carbs

standard ignition will be fine. No idea on the jets but shouldn't be too far off but I would check them first before running it.

If bike carbs are set up correctly then they can be reasonably economical and reliable

You want about 1.5mm jets for a standard 1.4
I got 1.4 on bike carbs set up at bogg brothers, they are recomended by alot of people. i used to get 24 mpg out of mine and it had a kent cam and 1.8mm jets (made 140bhp when dave bogg set it up)
