We know, probably knew about that before you did:p

It looks worse now as went to go see it at my mates work and fiddled with the wiring, then it wouldnt start, so undid what id done and went to fire it up, asked if it was in gear, he replied 'err, no dont think so' so i struck it up...............

It was in gear and fired up, nearly ran my mate over and ploughed into the workshop wall/door:eek:

No pics as he was properly pissed off, but it bent the lower arm he had just fitted, stoved the wing in and took out the indicator and damaged the bumper:cry:

Spudly
01-03-11, 10:39 PM

Spudly

dont link to it as what hapens in the thread is not something that wants posting on png and admin will delete it as its not legal or in any way condoned by png

rc is on here he used to have the burnt orange wide arch nova on tsw razors that got shunted up the back side hes the one who is now building the rwd mk3 astra

the van was in a very very poor state when i got it i repaired what i was prepared to spend on it just enough to make it safe then got rid

but the biggest problem with it is its not what it seems thats all i have to say on the matter

novalicous
02-03-11, 07:56 AM
Yeah its the same rc that did this van and why cant I post the link?

Yep. Sounds like it should be weighed in now. Add to the fact it's a cut n shut or ringer and it doesn't make for anything special. lol

and the fooked up fuel pump wiring
and live wires loose in the back
and his electric windows were wired up to the headunit
and his clocks didnt work and werent even a full matching set

bet yeh, it was a minter and was a proper good job!! that good he managed to post about its 'sister' on two forums and get away with it! unbelievable!!

Theyre the reason i managed to bung it into the wall, pulled the fuse out of the 'amp' wiring feed, and it turned out that was part of the fuel pump feed:wtf:

Matey left it in gear and i asked but didnt check, hence fire up and smash:cry:

This is very true and i always start cars with my foot on the clutch and i never said i blamed my mate, i keep saying its my fault as i shouldve checked but i thought asking him would be sufficient, and seen as how i wasnt in the van, i was only leaning in through the window, it would be a little hard to put my foot on the clutch, you dont really think id be stupid enough to actually sit in the car and do nothing to stop it smashing into the wall, if i was in it then it wouldnt have happened at all!

I keep telling Hayley to start her car with the clutch down but she doesn't.

Amusement when I slip it hers gear when parked on a hill though lol

Why is it a pain to start the car with the clutch down? Am I the only person who does it naturally? Feels weird if I start a car without pressing the clutch lol

Andy
14-03-11, 08:30 AM
I always do it,its just natural to me,perhaps it stems from when i used to ride motorbikes very young and was taught to always have the clutch in when kicking them off

I always depress the clutch when starting. I was taught to leave a car in gear when parked.

Doing it this way stops you looking silly if you forget to knock it out of gear before starting lol
