is there a proper way this is supposed to be disposed or should i just lob it in the bin?

I would imagine as it is a toxic chemical it has to disposed of properly. Local council might have a waste disposal place?

Drop a bit on the floor and look at at the shiny balls rolling around lol
Then get a straw and you can push them all back together again, never gets boring lol

Exactly what I was going to say.
We found a load of old mercury tilt switches in my grandads shed, we just dropped them in the bin lol. Couldnt be arsed to contact the right people to get rid.

Your local recycling center should take it (emphasis on should, the decent ones take most chemicals, the rest are usually ***tters who even complain about Engine Oil).
