hey guys, i need to work out what this number is, and i cant read it.

any ideas. - a couple of pics

I'm guessing its from your new XE engine so will be 140 something.

Clean off as best as possible
Bung a load of blu-tac or plastacine over the number
Carefully peel off
View at easier angle

Put a bit White paper over it and use a pencil to shade over it and the number should be clearer.

and yeh its out of the chevette. so its an XE. :)

Just tell the dvla that you need glasses and can't read it

i cleaned the area off on mine and borrowed some of our lasses silver eye shadow and preded i into the numbers then lightly cleaned it off and could read the numbers perfectly :thumb: just dont tell her lol

lol @ above was gunna say skim it with some unmixed filler easy to wash out aswell

i done mine with white chalk,was well easy enough to read then
