Why do i feel like im about to have my arm chopped off, i dont think my nova has been on the road for about two years, ive not driven one in that time and iirc ive not even been a passenger in one either, why am i so gutted:roll:



Just pulled her out of the nice warm dry heated garage she has been stored in (see- warm, dry, heated, garage - read- soggy bush at the end of my garden but dont tell Claire) pumped up the tyres as they were all a bit flat, and gave her a good sponge over to remove the odd build up of gunk thats somehow penetrated the aforementioned 'garage':wtf:

And now im awaiting the arrival of the new owners with a trailer to pick up the old girl, im gonna miss her but she is going to a good home with a skillful welder type person to co-own/build her, so i cant think of anywhere better to sell/send her to as the work needed is way out of my range of skill (read none) but i cant wait to get another, damnitlol

I would focus on getting a Cav turbo tbh, I have promised myself I will never have another Nova once I'm done with the SR (at least for a long time anyway) as I want to taste the foreign delights, as much as people slate french cars off (like the 205 GTi I want) they have a reputation for handling well, not such a good reputation for being reliable though lol

decided that next time i trailor a car home with the cav im taking the lowering springs of the rear first as it was not nice fully laiden.

home ok and had a glance at it last night quick when ere got back and to be fair its not that bad at all realy new pair of wings doors and rear quaters crossmember was going to be choped about any way rebuild the splash gauards and a plate in the battery tray and its all but there realy splash of paint let in the front and jobs done

but that said it may seem a quick repair but it wont be as i wont be doing it claire is and its her first project and shes got to learn to weld first but she will be ok i will keep an eye on her.

But it will live again

oh and regards to the comment about the cav beeing a donor dream on i would rather crush it and let it die in dignity than let it have its heart ripped out for a nova corsa astra or such as like and as spud found out yesterday it works a little to well as a complete car to think about breaking it

Fecking cav's doing my head in now, just replaced the rad and cant get the top rad hose to seal, replaced that and the new one is the same, no matter how tight you nip the jubilee clip up it still dribbles coolant out, only now its proper pissing out, mating surface on the rad is clean and has no damage, new pipe is brand new and the jubilee clip is well lubed and works fine, damn thing spat all its coolant nearly on a 20 min drive, fecking thing!!
