The front seats I know need welded at the back my question is do I have to use sr/sri/gsi/gte subframes?

Will my 1.0 subframes fit the same? What's the difference between them?

I was told that the reason GSI/GTE ones are used, is because they're removable (or more easily removed).

The sr/gte/gsi subframes unbolt where others the brackets are fixed
