Alright guys,

just wondering what sort of bhp figure id be putting out with a standard e16se with the zx7r bike carbs?

rough estimate really just to see wether its worth it.

Thanks in advance

Ben

loads of factors,

how healthy is the engine to begin with,

iv seen std gte engine put out 80-105bhp lol

and then you go and do something stupid like fit carbs to it, are you insane ? lol

Probably yeh! The fact it's in a mini then it's not quite the norm, wouldn't do it to a standard nova no way. Idea is to give me more space and bin the silly efi box or whatever it is, it's massive anyway whatever it's called. Searched them on here and looks like a few people have gone down that route and didn't come across any one that said they were crazy. I understand that the standard injection is good and carbs would be a bacwards step but I'm used to a 1275 a series 70bhp carbed engine shot on fuel. Havnt ran the engine yet but the internals look fine and so does the head. Suppose well just have to see what happens on thevrollers

you can get a mini conversion inlet manifold for it then, :)
