nova 1.2 cam belt help???

my pin has snapped off so im not sure how i can line it up now?? anyone got a picture or a diagram for me please?? cheers

Take number 1 plug out, look in and get the piston to tdc, then put a mark on the belt cover/block inline with the mark on bottom pulley, which should be in the same area where the pin broke off. Then do your ignition timing to this mark. 1.2's are bullet proof so if your out a nats it should still go!

Failing that get a new backplate and pin and fit it

is the nub of the pin still visible ?
that'll give you a close enough guide for lining up with the crank notch.
dab o tip-ex on it for the timing gun :thumb:
