best fuel adative???

seen loads of diff fuel adative about, want sum for santa pod 2morrow, wot the best 1, im running super now (97 ron)

theres a manufacturer called millers (or mills)

get the valve cleaner additive, not the octane booster because the valve cleaner claims a 3 octane boost, where as the octane booster is only 1-2 lol


other than that comma petrol magic is rather good.



you will need to adjsut your ignition if you want the best from an additive, and if you have a gte/gsi with managed ignition its gonna have less effect, unless you can get a 100 RON plug

personally I wouldnt bother. My experience of addatives is they knacker the engine - did to me a while ago!

Read an interesting article on how America has banned "addatives" due to the damage they cause.

If an engine needed addatives, the manufacturers would have build an addative fluid bottle in the engine bay. Also there are several enhancers and addatives in the fuel - take Shell Optimax for example.
