Before Xmas my m8 asked me if I wanted to put my Nova Vs his Fiesta on a rollin road. We've always argued over whos faster My 1.0 or his 1.1? well we went and thrashed the shit out of both cars.
The Results were:

My Nova 1.0
109mph, 62bhp@5500rpm!
His Fiesta 1.1
105mph, 57bhp@6000rpm!

the bloke at the garage said he had never seen a standerd 1.0 go that quicky, so i was wondering if ne1 has or if ne1 knows of a 1.0 that is as quick as mine?? coz this is my first car (im 17) and havent driven other 1 litre cars!

your nova should only have 45 bhp but novachick has had 110mph out of her 1.0

that sounds shit off a shovel for a 1.0,
i ave a 1.2 wiv a peco bb2 and pipercross air filter, and i thrashed the shit out of a 1.3 sr, after he went i gave mine a proper good thraping and i got 112mph out of it and it still wanted to go a tincy wincy bit more

I took my 1.4SR to 110 mph in 4th gear and it still had more in it - I was very surprised!
