SRi is 82bhp top speed of around 120 i'd guess no idea on the 0-60 tho

I found it :

Fiesta XR2

84 bhp
Top mph : 104
0-60 mph (sec) : 9.4

Nova I cud only See 1.3 and its not a SRI

And the 1.3 was:

70 bhp
Top mph : 103
0-60 mph (sec) : 9.7

So wud my 1.4 SRI beat the Fiesta XR2

depends wot xr2. the mk3 versions are faster than that flat out. nearer 120! I hate them so much

My 1.4SR CARBS killed many XR2's, 2i's, XR3's, 3i's, and my mates ill running RST. Also 2.0L Focus,Mondeo, New Golf 1.6, Mk1 Golf GTi cabriolet, etc...

It depeneds on the driver...if you can get a good start, quick/sharp gear changes...Traction etc...size of wheels in diameter, how much bottle you got to take it up to 8000RPM :lol: :lol: :lol: SCREAMER!!!! :twisted: Not that I had mine bouncing at 8000rpm of course Mike Oxford :roll: :roll:

Little things make a difference to your engines performance, leads, plugs, rotor arm, petrol (RUN OPTIMAX!!!!!), oil (Thicker oil makes engines run slightly slower...you dont notice this much)

I would, cam it, weber 32/34, 4 branch, PERFORMANCE exhaust...no crappy back boxes!, 1.2 head, performance leads and plugs, and then a rolling road for set-up.

Mk3 was from (I think) from Y plate ('83) upto C plate ('86)...Could be earlier and later. rough dates tho.

no thats mk1 then mk2 up to about 88 then mk3 from 88 to 95?

Mk3 is G-reg up to P-Reg. It is the shape with the Rs-turbo model.

a mate of mine let me drive his xr2i when i had me gte and it was well uncomfy seats r shite and it just seemed well slower than me gte didnt like it at all cant stand the mk3 fester mk2 xr2 was spot on mind u wasted plenty of them in me sri there a bit thrashed now i recon

there not that faster i had a race with ( we were both trying) i was infront of him the whole time mainly because I got a got start and kept it up, I think the sri are underated there pretty nippy although that fiesta i raced was not in the best condition thats probably why i won
