2 or 4 Cibies on a MK1 Nova

Thinking of putting them on the SR - Jamacian Yellow SR A Reg.

Not sure of they'd go......They look spot on when on the Mk2 Escorts and the likes.

Vauxhall's rally cars tended to have Lucas 20 20's

I use to run two Lucas 20/20's and two Lucas DX160's, this is an old picture;)

Thanks, they are mounted on some custom overiders I made years ago, and is why my SR carries a "Square" front number plate, was thinking about it, should maybe get on with itlol

The 20/20's ran 100W bulbs and the DX160's ran std 55W, I could certainly se where I was going at night, until I switched to diplol

My old Sport with four Cibie Super Oscars all with 100w bulbs iirc!
They were fitted on Theta brackets and I made a heavy duty relayed loom, ran a diesel battery and XE alternator. Pity they only lasted a few weeks before some stupid bint remodelled them for me!:mad:

Super Oscars are really large lamps, my friend has 4 Oscar Plus' on his XR2 which I thought were neater

i'd go with 2, i think 4 is a bit much.

as royston said the super oscars are big lamps, quite deep aswell from memory. i mocked them up against my nova and thought they looked just a bit big. a set of slightly smaller hella lamps i had looked much better.
