gearbox code??

where on the gearbox does it say f10, f13 ect???

ive looked but cant find it, is it near the gear selector???

just wana make sure ive got a f13 on mine

that will tell you what number it is, ie.f10 or f13 etc but you need to check the side casing to see if its a close ratio or wide ratio. on the side casing check for an obvious flat spot where a code could be written on the bottom half. clean with wd40 and a cloth or something until its readable. here you will find a long code and in the middle of the code will either be a w (wide ratio) or c (close ratio)

then after this letter u have your FD ratio

the box i have outside has W418 which means a wide ratio box with 4.18:1 FD ratio (ie the 1.3SR box)
